Scarves

Lately there has been an increase in the number of people wearing cool scarves. It could be because of the cold weather or just that people (including me) have realized how fun scarves are. They have to be my absolute favorite accessory. Not only can they make a dull outfit but they are easy to wear. Forever 21 and J Crew both have nice selections for both genders in a variety of price ranges and colours. What is not to love about an accessory that makes you look interesting and cool (no matter how dull you really are) and serves a practical use! If you think you couldn't pull off a scarf or think they are just not meant for wearing inside you could not be more mistaken! Just go for it!

Animal Print

They say you should dress for the job you want. If that's the case, then I want to be a jungle animal! I love animal print more than any other patters....floral, plaid, stripes, polka dots are all snubbed out by the brilliance of animal print. It all started when I found a small, tasteful, leopard print Kate Spade purse in a consignment store. It became a part of me; I took it everywhere I went. Soon after, my sister gave me a leopard print wallet that went very well with the purse, and it was just a downward spiral from there. Within three months I went from owning one leopard print bag to owning one leopard print bag, one leopard print wallet, two pairs of leopard print shoes, a pair of leopard print gloves, and a healthy array of leopard print knick knacks. (I just bought a leopard print skirt yesterday, too!) It was an addition to any outfit that people came to recognise as my signature. But I don't only like leopard prints. Zebra is a nice accent, especially with bold colours.
A woman wearing animal prints is making a statement- she is poised, bold, and ready to revert to animal instincts at any given trigger. There's something about it that makes it so edgy, and yet it can be so tasteful!

A says, "I love leopard print with green or teal"
I must agree! (I would say that kelly green is best with zebra and teal is best with a full bodied gold leopard)

LUSH

If you've ever been to Europe you may have seen some fancy schmancy body shop (not like cars) called Lush and thought "psh. vegan crap." (actual quote) and kept on walking. But not us. We ventured in. Actually A was the first one to discover it, when she was in England, but one recently opened in our local centre commercial and she insisted we have a look-see. You enter the store and you may be a bit overwhelmed by the barrage of 4000 different smells and colours, but don't lose faith. Keep on truckin. First start to browse the walls and then venture to the back, ending with the tables in the middle. Soon after trying on the Dream Cream or mayhap the $89.75 moisturiser, the sales people will start to orbit. Within a few minutes one will approach-DO NOT BE ALARMED. They are your friends. They will start by directing you to the nearest exfoliater and finishing it off with cuticle cream- but it doesn't stop there! You will not leave the store until you have sampled, I kid you not, EVERYTHING in the store. And after that salesperson leaves someone else might pounce and offer you more free samples! (What's better than free stuff?) You leave the store feeling soft and pampered, and smelling like a pixie, with a good sense of well-being. The prices are a bit high, but they are reasonable for what you're getting. You really get your money's worth.

A's Favourite Product: Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub
K's Favourite Product: Fairy Jasmine Bath Bomb
A&K's Favourite Routine: Use your favourite massage oil bar. After you're nice and oily finish it off with some Silky Underwear Dusting Powder for the "Supermodel Skin" effect.

*Fun Fact: Popular Geordie comedian Ross Noble mentions the Fairy Jasmine Bath Bombs (He calls them lass grenades) in a routine of his...it's a right laugh

Getting Fired Up

Once upon a time, in the throes of Black Friday shopping, two classy youngs ladies discussed their common interests and why everyone should love them too. They figured, Hey, Oprah has a list of her favourite things, why can't we? So kids that's what this is. Our favourite things in the whole world. Ready for you to try them, love them and share your testimonials. Get ready to get your socks rocked by a whole lotta stuff. Stuff that we like. So we wrote it on a blog.
